Cebu Branch Job Fair in Barili

In order to manifest the commitment of FOSCON in making its vision and mission nearing to fulfillment, it has sourced out, in an all out strategy, all the possible avenues of the recruitment world.

The FOSCON management is continuously searching for ways and means where possible areas of exploration are viable. In each and every job fair in the City of Cebu, FOSCON had been invited last September 9, 2007 (Sunday) in one of the job fairs of Labor Officer of the town of Barili, Cebu and he noticed our sincerity in giving employment to all qualified seamen. He invited our office staff at FOSCON Cebu to conduct recruitment by way of a Special Recruitment Authority (SRA) issued by the town of Barili. We accepted the invitation and in return the town mayor had the occasion announced in all corners of Barili. Even the parish priest had the event announced after celebrating the Holy Mass. It was a concerted act of all concerned. The town mayor visited the recruitment area and he observed that the activity would also boast employment of his peers.

The town Mayor, Hon. TERESITO P. MARIÑAS, and the Labor Officer, MR. NOEL ENCABO, were very glad of the event and promised to extend their full support to FOSCON in their entire recruitment journey. They said that there were times in the past that there were some recruiting agencies that made recruiting activities but it is with FOSCON that they found their hearts open and welcome. This is a good sign showing that FOSCON is following a good and correct path in its way to execute the mission that it dreamed of and the fulfillment of its vision. FOSCON will not stop at the crossroads of any urban area but will go through every avenue until it will take control of the helm within the grassroots of the profession.
